Welcome to Byas Biorefineries Pvt. Ltd.

  

We aim to explore the fullest potential of today’s advanced bioprocessing through partnerships and strategic alliances to move up the lignocellulose biorefinery value chain. B-Bioref is particularly focused to produce renewable sugars (C5 and C6 sugars) and xylitol-sugar alcohol, ceto-glyco/xylosides, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, purified lignin, lignosulfonates, and biochar.

We are primarily developing these proprietary products and then their commercialization to cater the needs of various industries. We have developed these products through extensive R&D in last 20 years from laboratory to commercial scale. We will primarily rely on the sugarcane biomass and rice straw for the production of these products employing sustainable routes. Our production unit is in Khatauli, sugar bowl of the India in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh state produces foreseeable sugarcane biomass and other agricultural residues serving as a suitable feedstock for the production of these products. 

In the field of bioresources commercialization, collaborative partnerships with compatible industries, research laboratories and technological partners are pivotal. Coupled with India’s rich biotech network and bio-business ecosystem advantage, we believe to develop and deliver novel and affordable technological solutions for global commercialization of renewable fuels and value-added products.

Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol found in plants, including many fruits and vegetables. It has a sweet taste and is often used as a sugar substitute. Xylitol is used as a sugar substitute in such manufactured products as drugs, dietary supplements, confections, toothpaste, and chewing gum.
